Kingsley Consulting were delighted to have been featured as one of the 8 employers in Northants who have pledged their support to the Armed Forces community by signing the Covenant.
East Midlands RFCA put out the following news article that was published in the local news and across Social Media.
Eight employers in Northamptonshire have now pledged their support to the Armed Forces community by signing the Covenant. The businesses, all from the private-sector, have pledged to ensure that their employees who are Armed Forces Reserves, Forces veterans or military spouses are supported and treated fairly in the workplace.
Cliff Masey, Commercial and Sales Director at Kingsley Consulting Ltd, of Towcester, who pledged their support to the Armed Forces community recently (July 2016), said: “‘Having personally seen the skills and experience that serving reservists and service leavers gain throughout their time in the Armed Forces, these are all extremely valuable and transferable skills that every organisation throughout the UK can really benefit from.
“As Kingsley Consulting is a Recruitment and Employment Consultancy who look to go beyond how standard recruitment companies operate, we continually look to educate all of the clients we work with in relation to this and help to facilitate the transition of service leavers into employment as smoothly as possible. We hope that continuing to work closely with all members of the Armed Forces, our clients and partners in the way we do will only add further value to everyone involved.”
Each of the companies who have signed the Covenant have declared their support for Defence Personnel publically and their names are included in an official online list of supportive employers.
John Wilson, the Ministry of Defence’s Regional Employer Engagement Director, said: “Defence is working with businesses, local authorities, charities and community organisations to support the Armed Forces community through services, company policies and projects. I am delighted that a number of organisations in Northamptonshire have pledged their support publically, and encourage others to learn more about the many benefits employing reservists or former service personnel could bring to their business; such as enhanced leadership, management and team working capabilities.”
