Kingsley Consulting are seeking an Intermediate Revit Technician to join a growing team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will work under the BIM Director to create 2D and 3D MEP models, as well as produce Stage 3, 4, and 5 drawings. This role requires working closely with senior engineers and clients to meet project requirements, maintaining high accuracy in drafting, and ensuring adherence to BIM Execution Plans.
 
Role Overview:
The MEP Revit Technician will be instrumental in the development of complex MEP models, incorporating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and containment systems. Working with minimal supervision, the role demands a balance of independent initiative and collaborative efforts to ensure project deadlines are met. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage with all stages of RIBA (2-5), allowing for professional growth and an in-depth understanding of the building services industry.
  • Handle complex drafting tasks with minimal guidance from senior engineers.
  • Develop detailed 3D models and working drawings for MEP systems.
  • Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, making necessary revisions.
  • Maintain and update project drawings as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather reference data for designs.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Attend project meetings and represent the company at BIM coordination workshops.
Company: Kingsley Consulting are partnered with a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering firm, based in Liverpool. With over 35 years of experience, this company delivers innovative M&E designs across a wide range of projects, from small bespoke schemes to large multi-million-pound developments. They operate in both private and public sectors, with projects in healthcare, education, and commercial markets. The firm also offers specialist BIM outsourcing services through its Digital Engineering Studio, providing Stage 5 modelling for top MEP contractors in the UK.
 
Experience & Skills Required
  • Significant experience in a leadership role within health and safety, preferably in the construction industry.
  • At least 2 years' experience using Revit within the building services sector, either for an M&E consultancy or subcontractor.
  • Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
  • Revit training certification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • UK-based and able to work from the Liverpool office.
  • AutoCAD experience is beneficial, with the willingness to transition to Revit.
