Overview

Air conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers are required in the Manchester region by an organisation who are Europe’s leading HVAC manufacturer, offering heating, ventilation, air conditioning turnkey solutions to a number of sectors.

As an Air Con & Refrigeration Engineer you will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works across a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout your region.  The Air Con units and Refrigeration equipment will be within a variety of commercial sites, including; universities, hospitals, offices, data centres, production sites, gyms and other types of properties which would have HVAC systems.

Fault finding and repairing as well as general planned maintenance and servicing will be the main part of the role and this will be over various AHU’s, chillers and close control systems.  Experience across these types of Aircon and refrigeration systems would be hugely beneficial but not completely essential.  Standby is required and currently will be 1 week in 5 with a standby allowance and up to double time overtime paid, if called out.

General overview of tasks will involve;

  • Air Con Servicing & Repairs
  • Filter Changes
  • Refrigeration system servicing and fault finding
  • Close control system maintenance
  • AHU Servicing
  • Chiller system repair and servicing
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times while representing the company’s brand and image within the HVAC sector

 

Experience & Skills Required

Experience:

  • Air Conditioning servicing and fault finding experience
  • Refrigeration servicing and repair
  • Ideally have experience across AHU’s (air handling units), Close Control Systems and Chillers
  • Worked across similar client bases and across a variety of HVAC systems
  • Good Electrical appreciation and understanding

Qualifications required:

  • F-GAS 2079
  • NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Salary :-                      £30k – £31k Base + Van, Standby, Overtime & Good Benefits – £45k OTE
