The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and advancing the company’s test solution services in the UK and Europe, working closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-standard projects..
Role Overview
As the Technical Director, you will be accountable for expanding the test and measurement business, ensuring the company becomes a key player in EMC lab builds, SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), and wider system integration. You will also provide technical leadership and support, maintaining a thorough understanding of the market while fostering relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities for growth. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of test solutions, focusing on EMC lab builds and system integration.
- Manage project delivery from inception to completion, working with internal and third-party resources.
- Maintain and update product management plans for EMC solutions.
- Provide technical support to the sales team for EMC and test solution opportunities.
- Create technical content, including blogs and whitepapers, to promote EMC knowledge and innovation.
- Identify gaps in the current solutions portfolio and recommend new principals or products.
- Stay updated on market trends and product developments within the sector.
- Act as the technical lead for the EMC division, supporting key account management.
- Contribute to the marketing strategy to enhance the company’s presence in the EMC and test solutions market.
- Build a strong professional presence on LinkedIn and other industry platforms.
Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience in EMC engineering and compliance.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects.
- Ability to manage teams effectively and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree or HNC equivalent in Engineering or Science disciplines would be ideally preferred.
